WILD ORIGINS
Born in the treacherous Tartok Mountains, Hati quickly became known as a highly temperamental and incredibly aggressive tokota with an odd resemblance to Fenrir, feared leader of the Desna pack. He was marked by the TCA for capture and removal from park grounds to avoid potential injury to hikers and tamers, but he escaped his high-security enclosure and had miraculously managed to stay out of TCA's hands for some time. In his roaming, his plastic marker tag had broken off, confusing some tamers into believing he was marked for domestication.
TAMED BY MISTAKE
The aggressive Tokota was soon overwhelmed by tamers. Wanting nothing more to be left alone, Hati lashed out at several, but the tamers' injuries only added to the local lore and excitement around the dire. Against all odds and after over a month of resistance to tamers, he found comfort in the company of a human called Grey and her silly Tokota, Denver, and decided to accompany them home. After a confusing meeting with the TCA, Grey was given permission to keep Hati under strict safety precautions, which included building a large fully enclosed territory where Hati spends most of his time.
FINDING HIS PLACE
Though he has accepted some elements of domestic life, Hati still has many wild and aggressive tendencies. He is extremely protective of Grey and the few Tokotas that he has grown to trust. He prefers all others stay away from him, especially male Tokotas. He tends toward aggressive behavior if pressured, having much more "fight" than "flight" instinct. As he ages, however, he has grown more accustomed to other people and Tokotas, making him less dangerous when out in public, though still legally required to be muzzled. In his territory, he has developed a love for fishing, and spends most days near the river that winds through it.
