Maquraq Legend says there was once a powerful and respected tiger with a pure white pelt that made her home in the jungle trees. She was known for her massive claws and gentle soul. Over the years she was mother to many with the same pale fur and the envy of many in the jungle. Stories of her spread far and wide, bringing poachers in search of these rare pelts. They hunted down all of Akanti's children and finally even the powerful tiger herself. Pain and anguish for not saving her family from a pitiful death bound her spirit to Maquraq, causing her to become an avenger of those wrongly hunted in the trees. Her once-white fur was forever stained by the blood of those she'd lost...
If you enter the trees with plans to steal or harm the residents, be sure to keep your head on a swivel as Akanti can feel the greed in your thoughts. It calls to her no matter how far away you are. Once you have hands on your prize the tiger begins her hunt for you. She is wise and more skilled than any other creature in the jungle. She’s been known to plan traps and tricks in the trees to trap you or keep you going in circles while she narrows in. The only way to save yourself from her is to free those you have taken. Then the tiger will take the stolen back home safely while you run away, fearing for your life, never to return again. If you do.. you better run fast because she will be back.
