Bonding Overview

Tier 1 | Tier 2 | Tier 3 | Traits | FAQ

The purpose of higher bonding tiers

Higher bonding tiers are mostly useful for Adventures, and in allowing you to take your absolute favorite tokotas story further. While we expect plenty of tokotas to be T1 bonded - after all, it’s necessary to unlock on-site UTs (e.g. Boons, Counterfeiter, Limit Breaker) we expect, even higher level players, to only have 2-3 T3 bonded tokotas.

The T2 and T3 trait upgrades are designed to be nice bonuses for your favorite tokotas, rather than something you’d try to get on large numbers of tokotas. The main draws of higher tiers of bonding are:
  • The opportunity to further your favorite tokota’s story in an official way.
  • Access to T2 and T3 Adventures, which have:
    • Better loot than T1 Adventures
    • Star Points, which will be used in the upcoming Constellations system, allowing you to get small but permanent boosts to breeding.

➥ Tier 1

  • Coming Later when Adventure Tack is released:
    • Access to the Adventure Armory, where you manage your Tokota’s Adventure Tack, Companions and Traits.
    • This allows your Tokota to have a totally separate set of Tack, Companions and Traits for Adventures which are limited (even Tack) but don’t interfere with their main limits. This means your Tokota can be fully tacked as both an Adventurer and Caver, for example.
