Personality: Charuli can come across as intimidating, especially with his hard stare resulting from an unanswered question. He tends to lean towards being more relaxed but he won’t take any nonsense.
When approached at work, he will greet anyone with a curt smile and is always polite. In a more public setting, Charuli isn’t so good with strangers, usually keeping to himself with his nose in a book.
Background: Charuli is born and bred in Narnvak, his father was a fisherman and his mother was a diver, the pair were like bread and butter. Charuli absolutely hates water even living by the beach. Sand? He can tolerate it, but the salty sting of water was something, even as a child, he never particularly enjoyed. Eventually, Charuli grew up, got his own place, and made a living before buying a large enough property to build his own library.
Charuli keeps track of records, not only from Narnvak but other places of Tokotna. Nothing can sate his need for knowledge and with each answer, he finds more questions that haunt him. Often helps Wilford with his research, digging through books whilst Mitchel is in the field.

Appearance: Far from your stereotypical librarian, Charuli is a well built man with dark greying hair in a faded undercut and slicked back top with a trim, neat beard along his jaw. Dark, tanned skin, high cheek bones and a thin face with square glasses and deep maroon eyes. Rumors & Gossip:
- Despite being a decent-looking and well-educated man, Charuli has never kept the company of another person romantically.
- Charuli’s personal library is said to take up the entire second story of his house and half of the first.
- Charuli lives in a house by the beach and can be seen reading a book with tea every morning on his porch. People find this confusing because he vocally speaks of his dislike for the ocean.
