Description:

Through the jungle, deep into the maze of trees one comes to a clearing that opens into an array of mismatched buildings scattered across the open space. The hustle and bustle here lets one into the little secret that this is a functioning town. There are people who have settled here from all walks of life, each with their own story to tell as far as why they have made the wild jungle their home. It is this mixed demographic of people that gives the unique bright and flowing colors to the splendor of the First Outpost. Marked as the hub of trade within Maquraq as it is the first place that most come upon in their trek into the jungle, the first place for people to stock up on supplies needed to enter the jungle and the last place for over seventy miles. Few other modes of transportation exist here besides that of the back of a Tokota or by way of river.

Landmarks:

• The Mother Tree - At the center of the Outpost is a large tree that has vines dripping down from high in its branches. It's said that these vines are a representation of all of the past souls that have traveled through the jungle and each year the slow growing vines creep a little closer to the ground to connect the souls that have passed to the souls that still remain on Earth..

Lore:

• The first outpost is said to have been settled by travelers that were tired of the cold and barren tundra landscape of Tanyia.
