Tokotna is a unique and diverse place, which is reflected in our import backgrounds. Whether your Tokota is a special holiday Tokota or one that likes to explore, what better way to show it off than the background that accompanies your Tokota. From the unique surroundings of the wild Tokotas to the heart of Tokotna itself, you will find what you are looking for here.

Each set below has a specific set of rules to go with it, make sure you read them carefully before you select the perfect background for your Tokota.

For backgrounds that have HU Variants, a Tokota may use any variant up to their level of hierarchy. For an example, a Dominant Tokota may use the Submissive, Average, or Dominant variants of the background but will not be allowed to use the Alpha variant.
It is optional to change background variants while moving up in hierarchy and Tokotas may remain on lower variants if the player so chooses.

FAQ

If I am using a Borga Stone and moving up to Dominant, do I need to make any changes to the import?

Yes, you will still require a Dom Symbol and/or a Tail Flip.

If I am using a Borga Stone how do I tell the different between Submissive and Average OR Dominant and Alpha?

You cannot at a glance, but you can check their Tokotna Import to see their HU. All Admins are trained to check Tokotna as the source of truth on a Tokotas so don't worry about that.

If I am using a Sikrinerk Stone can I use a different HU Background than my Tokota's Current HU?

Yes, as with any background with HU Variants, your Tokota may use any variant that matches or is lower than it's current hierarchy level.

If there is no Alpha Version of my the Background I am using but there is a Dominant Background what do I do?

Nothing, you may keep using the Dominant or lower Background variants and if an Alpha Version comes along later you can switch if you so choose.

If I want to change my Sikrinerk/Borga Stone background, do I need a new stone or is it free?

You will need a new stone to change backgrounds.
