Forms:
  • A dappled sphinxki
Lore:
Pitsakoatl first began as a young toki, traveling across the Fosbir badlands with his handler. After an intense sandstorm, he found himself close to death. His final memory was of his handler running to try and reach him. When he woke, decades had passed and he was peeling out of his old tokota body into the beast he is today. He only cares for himself, and he is known to follow travellers to prank them. Whether or not his pranks are harmless is a matter of opinion. He will turn travellers in circles or play dead, only to jump up at unsuspecting creatures. Once in the presence of others, he is typically a calm and kind spirit, but the jokes he enjoys to play make many wary of him.

There are many tales of him following those unlucky enough to come across him, to their home, and continuing his routine there before eventually getting bored. He sheds on a regular basis, leaving both heavy, thick scales and fur behind. These only have a physical form for a few hours before they fade, so they are of no use to anyone, however, he is known to take a fondness of those who deliver him his lost scales back to him, and lead them safely from his domain.
