Ravarri Library

Alurik
Dry, warm
Description:
The Ravarri Library is a winding maze-like building within the side of the volcano known as Ravarri. Built out of ancient wood it mimics a classic temple aesthetic with various lanterns and statues of a species of tokota thought to be long extinct through it’s halls. There are a few nooks and rooms dedicated to keeping treasures of the library safe but are nowhere near as large as the main vault that holds all of the library’s scrolls and scriptures. Hidden deep into the maze is an underground hot spring that is known to have healing properties.
Landmarks:
  • The Underground Hot Spring - A pleasantly warm spring located far into the maze that is the Ravarri Library. It is a treasured part of the library, a place where those with ailments can go to find healing. The entryway that connects the cavernous spring to the rest of the library leads right up to flat stones that one can use to step into the water.
  • The Treasure Room - A large room with a giant statue of a stone tokota in the middle. There are usually offerings of various descriptions left at the base of the statue but in the room itself, there are various chests of treasures and fabrics draped over walls.
  • The Lantern - Located in the center of the maze is a massive lantern that never seems to go out.
  • The Vault - The main section of the library. Scrolls and scriptures and other writings are stored here behind a heavy door for safety.
Lore:
  • There are many minor spirits who haunt these halls. Not all of them are friendly.
  • The hot spring is rumored to heal almost any injury, physical and mental.
  • Some of the statues mimic ancient species that are related to current day tokotas.
