He is a guardian of all lost souls, that find their way into the harsh and unforgiving landscape of Fosbir. His kindred are the scavengers, creatures that scrape out a meager living by seeking out every last oddment left behind, that recycle the remnants of every other life in a delicate dance, the surprising hustle and bustle of a place that would seem uninhabitable and empty at first glance.

Legend says he is a bad omen. And perhaps he is, those most likely to see him are often not long for this world. But he isn't a malicious one. He is more like a spirit guide, come to gently take you through the parched desolation of his home on your way to Aippaq. He understands that he is feared, but he loves his charges and is grateful for the gift that every one of them subsequently gives back to his landscape and its inhabitants.
