Senna

(Character)

Description

Senna was born in another tribe. Her mother and father were busy, hard working members of the Tribe. Her mother, a cruel woman who hunted reguarly for the tribe and her father, a respectible warrior.
Senna and her mother never got along, her father always said it was because they were so alike. Senna never saw the similarities, not until she was well older.

Senna got along well with her father. He taught her how to fight and took her fishing. He took her exploring and they played in the snow. He taught her how to carve wood into beautiful animals and totems... Though, he was a busy man and often was too intertwined within the tribe ranks to pay very much attention to her. She loved him nontheless and she knew he loved her too. When he did find time, he would spend every second he could with her despite his tiresome days.
Her father was a warrior, one of the best in the Tribe and as he rose higher and higher in ranks Senna saw less and less of him. Training new recruits, scouting the Tribe's territory and sometimes fighting other tribes and whatever dangers threatened their tribe. Until one day her father left and she never saw him again. Many claimed that he has died while others stated that he'd simply run off. Senna believed neither of those things.

The only bonding experiences Senna got with her mother were hunting lessons which more than often ended in an argument likely about how to do something or about her father. Both Senna and her mother were sad a frustrated. Both lighting each other's fuses and now without Senna's father around there was no one to put them out. One particuarly cold day after one of these arguments that ended worse than the others, Senna stormed off into the Tokotna wilderness. She shouted into the frosty wind that only carried her cries away and kicked into the snow. She was ready to leave. There was no life left for her in that tribe and she wanted to find her father.
As she made the decision to leave, the wind carries low cries and whimpers of Tokota puppies. Senna followed the sound to two young merle dire puppies huddled together underneath a log. Both pups were shivering and covered in snow. Senna named them. The female she named Nekhii, and the male she named Jochi, after her father.

Senna had no intentions to returning to her tribe. She made a fire and began warming the puppies and planning how to sneak into her home to get her things.

The Nergüi Tribe

Senna and the puppies traveled. The two pups quickly became accustomed to Senna, the male more so than the female. Nekhii was a free spirit. Independent and adventurous. Jochi was loyal and he stuck to Senna's side. Senna hunted, and taught the Tokotas how to hunt. She lived off the land and whenever she ran into a person she would ask them if they'd heard of a Warrior named Jochi.

Senna's first encounter with the Nergüi Tribe started with a knife to a man named Khan's throat. It's funny now, thinking back to it but back then she's sure Khan did not find it funny one bit. She was simply startled by the man riding the looming dark colored dire. Her own dires were not yet old enough to ride but the two certainly held their own against Muunokhoi.
After the misnunderstanding was cleared up, Khan invited Senna to the tribe. She had no real intentions of staying. She was a "lone-wolf" after all. Khan's too-happy sister gave her a tour of the tribe when she entered. They advertised it as a place for new beginnings. All Senna could think about was how annoying the girl was.

That night when Senna was sure mostly everyone within the tribe was asleep she began looting Khan and Tuya's home which they so generously invited her to stay in for the night. She quietely loaded supplies ontil her Tokota and on her way out was greeted again by the large dire Tokota named Muunokhoi and on his back, Khan.
