(Location)

Once known as Elm's Beard, The Elms is a small Norse Settlement. It was renamed after the Kraken Clan forcibly took over with ill-intentions and the bad history is still fresh in some people's minds even after 3 generations. It was previously a fishing village with no Jarl, Karl or Thrall to lead, protect or govern them.

It is on a cliffside and nestled against the mountains, with a vast forest surrounding the Eastern side. The cliffs to the West with a winding pathway downwards to a beach where the residents go fishing when the weather permits. A small port is located there with some long boats - traders use these to trade the game and fish they acquire for other resources, such as clothing, jewellery and weapons. 

The Elms has since expanded so that a stables for horses could be erected, as well as new homes and a butchers for the purpose of skinning and carving game from the forest. Since the ground here isn't fertile, there are no farmlands or herds of cattle or sheep. Instead, a large paddock was made not just for horses, but also the new additions of Tokotas.
