His style is of his own he wears a very fine quality Robe of the Fire-Rat dyed dark blue embroidered with sliver feathers and a white silk undergarment due to his social status in his clan. He has a quartz crystal necklace that he had found and made into a necklace in which Kenshin never takes it off.

PERSONALITY: He is the quiet and timid type. Kenshin is mostly anti-social and lash out and fight back if he felt cornered. Deep below his tough shell he is kindhearted and gentle. He is sensitive about the subject of his past and rarely speaks of it because of bad memories. Spends a lot of the time silent and rarely speaks also mistaken for being mute. When he speaks, he uses honorifics such as “That I am” or “That I will”.  (Example: “I am Kenshin Haruki, that I am”)

 

Kenshin is an inu hanyou prince of a small but powerful Dog Demon Clan in the Southwestern Provence of Feudal Japan located between Mount Azusa and the South Eastern Coast. His mother Utsugi was a powerful leader but died of a long-term illness of an unknown cause. After his mother's death he was sealed in a temple storage room in his village after he had been exiled for 40 years. Kenshin has a claw like scar across his left his left eye from a fight with the ruthless leader of his tribe who had been his mother's second in command. The scar is a sign of exile and those who bare it is stripped of their social rank and would be killed unless they win in a one on one match with the current leader Jaakuna. He was freed on accident during a siege on the village from a band of rogue demons and escaped into the forest before he could be sealed a second time. He encountered Totosai who handed him the sword, "Blue Destiny." after convincing the hanyou he meant no harm and that he was a friend of Kenshin’s mother. Totosai was the first to earn his trust and friendship.  He was the one who taught him several techniques with his new weapon and allowed him to stay if he wanted to. The sword can only be used by the males of the Haruki bloodline. It instantly recognized Kenshin as the rightful heir and Prince and transformed, he now wields it with much sorrow.
