An elven Skinchanger (Shapeshifter) with the ability to manipulate the ice element, raised by her aunt and uncle after both of her parents passed. Mel later found Narheim and helped her aunt to nurse the boy back to health, coming to think of him like the brother she never had.

Well-versed in all manner of knowledge involving breeding and raising Tokotas, Mel often makes trips to villages and towns to help first-time owners to handle their expectant tokotas properly.

Her shapeshifting form is a silver wolf.
