Skjult Gård Bakke is an off-the-beaten-path location that includes two co-operative homesteads and a large parcel of untouched forestland. It is located on the outer edge of the area of Tokotna known as the Superiors. The property was founded by a pair of siblings - Espen and Erna Halvorsen.  The homesteads are divided between the two siblings and their partners and children.

Espen Halvorsen's Homestead is comprised of himself and his mate Ketilriðr (Kjelrithr) and they have three kittens - Sverrir the bold and angry teenager, Iðunn (Ithunn) the joyful preteen, and Njáll (Nyall) the poofy cloud of a baby.


Erna's Homestead is comprised of her, her partner Steinarr Vragi and their single kitten - Hugleikr a shy but optimistic toddler.

Tokotas belonging to the homestead are all registered under the name Halvorsen regardless of which family are their primary handlers. The exception is tokotas who remain somewhat wild, particularly those that tend to range between this homestead and others, and akotas who are registered under Skjult Gård Bakke

The two families do not always see eye to eye, particularly the two men as they have very different personalities and approaches to life, but they still manage to work together cooperatively and maintain a happy lifestyle for everyone involved.
