While he tends to make attempts at wooing other Tokotas, he usually falls short in that. Laertes thinks he's a real charmer, and he'll usually pay more attention to pretty tokotas as opposed to listening to his handler. He can also be quite stubborn at times, often turning his nose up at his handler and sauntering off. However, when the handler or the other Tokotas are wronged, Laertes quickly seems to snap, seeking vengeance on the one who would dare wrong anyone close to him.
