For most, Salem is fierce and dangerous. Highly suspicious, earning his trust is a massive ordeal which few attempt and even fewer succeed in and even fewer have managed to keep that trust with him. Oddly enough, one of Salems's only soft spots is for children and pups, which he is extremely fond of and gentle toward dispite his usual snappy temper. His young handler is the only human regularly allowed on his back, and his protectiveness of Corvus can be volatile.
