Busy, brave and foolhardy, he's a do first, ask questions later type. He seems to have a bit of a dry sense of humor and a great intelligence fuelled by his curiosity - he's always after the next interesting thing. Mulder remains fairly wild and distrustful of people with the exception of his handler whom he adores and treats as a packmate. He is protective and loyal to his handler and will not hesitate to risk his own safety if they are in danger. It is only with his handler that he shares his affectionate and playful side. He does not enjoy being ridden but will happily carry gear or pull sleds.
