A bit standoffish and brusque, Salem can a bit intimidating to approach. However, despite his aloof exterior, Salem isn't a fan of conflicts and will take care to avoid, or simply ignore, them where he can. The only time Salem appears ready and willing to charge into any sort of altercation is to the defense of those he has a soft spot for. He's generally a laid back and level headed boy who holds himself to very high standards. Salem is fairly methodical and anayltic in his observations of those around him, and has a close eye for detail. Salem doesn't favor the unfamiliar and acts very wary and distant with situations, animals, and people that he does not know.
