Talaska's personality is one that is pretty skittish to start off with until he gets to know you and realises you wont hurt him (Treats and grooming will help this recognition considerably). He doesnt like loud noises and as such isnt a very good deer or caribou hunter although his handler is working with him to try and overcome his fear of loud noises. Despite this though Talaska thinks he's a lap dog and will do anything in return for a good long cuddle. He adores being groomed and often purposely gets dirty just so he can have a bath.
