Rafiq is a rather snippy tokota who turns away quickly when someone reaches out to touch him. The only exception to this would be children. Around children, he is gentle and tolerant, allowing them to climb on him and touch his wild mane. Adults, on the other hand, must take caution when coming close to him. Even though he is gentle around the young ones, he doesn't take kindly to surprises, nor does he take kindly to people just expecting him to be complacent. Sometimes it is possible to catch him lazing around on rainy days and he is much too lazy and tired to fend off people who come near him, so he might allow some company.
