Marjolaine had a good start in life, born to caring parents that worked to teach her how to survive and a handler who was incredibly patient. When she was half a year old, however, Marj was out hunting with her mother when she was viciously attacked by a large male tokota. It seemed to go on for hours but in reality was only a few minutes before the whole pack was at her back and driving the stranger away. Marj survived the attack but was left horribly scarred, lucky that the worst of the wounds had been directed at her flanks and ears. It's left her incredibly twitchy, easy to spook, and aggressive towards strange male animals.
