Tengu didn't fall far from the family tree as far as temperment is concerned: she's standoffish, rude and bull-headed. However, compared to some of her kinsman, her patience and studiousness are overflowing. Tengu is a lean competitor through and through and loves to race and run trials; when she's competing, she has eyes only for the finish line and will barrel through anyone or anything in her path. She has serious food aggression problems stemming from early experiences with her older half-brother, a gluttonous adolescent who would steal Tengu's portion out from under her nose if she wasn't quick enough to evade him. Tengu seems to enjoy the company of humans- particularly her handler and her handler's close relatives and friends- more than that of other tokotas.
