Known as King on a day to day basis. Knows better than to hold his tail higher than he's earned the right to, but if you didn't know much about tokotas, you could easily mistake him for an alpha based on how he carries himself and how he behaves toward the less assertive averages, and the submissives, in his pack. For this reason, his handler tends to take a sarcastic tone with him, to keep his ego in check. King isn't the biggest tokota, but acts as self-assured and unafraid as the biggest, brawniest Dire or Akota. Deep down, he's frightened of being totally alone, of being rejected from the pack and seen as weak and worthless. As a pup, he was relatively small, and though he's a reasonably well-grown animal now, the thought habits he learned then still influence him. So he makes a point of presenting himself as important, powerful, proud, fearless. That way, he believes, no one will ever question whether he belongs there. He worries a lot about making some mistake or failing at some important task and thus revealing himself to be a fraud, the weak thing he's always been afraid he really is.
