A rather observant Tokota, Simon is silent and likes to stray away from humans or Tokotas near his age. Instead, he finds a liking to the pups and children, as older ones seem to be more wild and stripped of innocence. More often than not, he oftentimes disappears from sight, trekking off into the unknown. The Lord of the Flies holds no fear towards most things, as he knows that evil lies within hearts, and true 'beasts' are those who succumb to that evil.
