Edelgard is a friendly dire from a long line of domestics, but was separated from her original traveling party at a young age. In her wanderings, she eventually came across a new group that she attached herself to - rather like a cat that decided it lives with you now. The fact that this 'cat' is unusually large, even by dire standards, is hard to miss

Edelgard is gentle and friendly, well-aware of her massive size, but she can also be stubborn bordering on obstinate. You can not force her to do something she doesn't feel like doing. Like many dires, she is very loyal to her handler, and very protective of the members of her pack, tokota or otherwise.
