Birke is a veteran all his own. He's a hard-worker and excels at what he's tasked to do. Though he's getting up in years, the more demanding tasks giving to more youthful tokotas, he enjoys less demanding work like watching over the flock or keep an eye on the ever-active pups. Autumn is his preferred time of year for winter makes this old tokota's bones ache, though he doesn't mind pulling sleds up hills for the children or helping gather firewood on chilly days.
