Wary and cautious, generally amiable but can be sneaky and manipulative. Unpredictably dangerous if not handled correctly. Sensitive, quick, sharp and opportunistic; good at reading social cues and understanding commands. Fiercely loyal (to a fault) to his rider, and can be possessive to the point of disallowing any other tokotas to be owned. Peculiarly treats his rider with such tenderness, almost in a mate-like manner; much to the confusion of all except the rider Himself. Often sits upright on his haunches, or attempts to walk on his hind legs rather like a bear. Adamantly refuses to harm/hunt/kill foxes. He associates these creatures with his rider, and will even go out of his way to help or defend foxes in peril, both from other creatures as well as other tokotas and handlers (and dangerously so). Always seen sporting a g old wedding ring with a runic script on one of the fingers of his front paw. If the light hits it just right, a peculiar, incorporeal red string can be seen linking it back to the rider, who wears a similar ring. [Lore and Background]
