Duck firmly believes he's as strong as any dire, and will stand toe to toe with all Tokotas larger than him. He affectionately got his name from his handler Berkly because as a puppy he looked as though his saddle were a pair of duck wings on his side. He loves to hunt and chase rabbits or foxes around, but has no trouble sticking with the "big dogs" and hunting much larger prey. He however is a lover, and will lay in the lap of any human he meets for a good belly rub. One of his favorite Tokotas is his pack mate Koda, a massive dire who thinks Duck is forever a puppy. He has a soft spot for his brother, Doot, who he is always trying to cheer up and get to play with him, as his brother is a solemn little Toki.
