Septimus might have been a cat or a dressage horse in a previous life, since his movements have always been poised and graceful. He loves to dance and jump, especially under saddle, and his gaits are very smooth. He seems to genuinely enjoy being ridden, and does his best to please his trainers. Around other tokotas he can be protective over his food, but otherwise he is happy to follow orders from his alphas. Though he has a confident personality, Septimus will do everything possible to avoid a fight, even if that means running away and hiding. Without a mane, there is little to protect his vulnerable neck should another tokota manage to catch him. He enjoys ice fishing more than any other activity, and his smooth coat allows him to slip through the water like a seal .
