Oxbow has led a life of adversity. She’s spent most of her years behind bars one way or another, having been smuggled across the world by merchants of the illegal exotic animal trade. At first the prize animal of an opium trade kingpin, she was later sold to a dogman who pitted tokota against each other in a fighting ring, part of an organized crime gang. She’s only been free for a very short time, and her location is unknown, presumed stolen and possibly dead. Oxbow is highly aggressive, maladapted and poorly socialized towards both man and tokota, posing a potential threat. Though never striking entirely unprovoked or without reason she’s still unpredictable and gives little to no warning. With her strained body language she’s exceptionally hard to read, but most of this aggression stems out of fear and simply not knowing better. She's spent her entire life fighting other tokota, not socializing with them, and she doesn't know how to deal with them. She’s wary, fearful and distrustful of people and possesses little tact towards other creatures. Despite how antisocial as she is towards people and other tokota, she’s entirely dependent of them, possessing little to no skills to survive in the wild besides her brute strength. She is however a powerhouse of a beast, and will take what she needs by force if she absolutely has to. She's of keen intelligence and strategic when she wants to be. The one man she reluctantly tolerates out of sheer neccessity was the in-house caretaker of the dogman's fighting ring, being the only one she has remotely positive associations with.
