Good hunter with great stamina and agility. Is an excellent tracker and stalker, the latter especially at dusk or whenever his dark coat can aid him. Enjoys water a lot and is an excellent fisher. Has some of his sire's wild side and is quite hardy, never gives up if it's something he has set his mind to. However he can get bored with (repetitive) training easily, and sometimes he will just walk away if the level of boredom gets too high. He is very friendly towards other tokotas, and if met with creatures he knows he can't hunt, he is friendly towards them as well.
