Nan's usual behavior is very serious, thoughtful and calm. She is very motherly, and can be found taking care of all sorts of 'youngling' creatures that she's discovered, even though many of these interpret her helpfulness as bullying. Her behavior changes completely, though, any time her handler approaches the fishing gear - her favorite pastime is fishing! She'll bounce, cavort, and frolic, generally behaving like a puppy, whenever she feels it's time to go fishing.
