As stubborn as an ox, this girl has gained such a trait from both her mother and father and shows it nearly everyday with her refusal to listen to anything unless it interests her (or involves treats). Having no experience with being ridden or even being saddled, Galatea will normally throw off anyone who tries to mount her and growl at anyone who tries to saddle her. Patience is key with this tokota and she is not recommended for those who have never handled the species before. She also seems to have a fairly one tracked mind which when partnered with her stubborness can become quite the handful. However she is also a very jumpy tokota who lacks much trust in others so when doing activities such as training and/or competitions blinders are recommended as she becomes frightened easily and that can break her concentration. When you do gain the trust of this tokota though, it is genuine, so you best not break it. She is very fond of young animals and despite her own immaturities, seems to take on a very mature and maternal persona, especially around those of her own species, however she doesn't discriminate. Though she seems to act a tad calmer around female tokotas she has been seen to be quite nippy with adult male tokotas. She doesn't even like being touched by her own species and other animals, though she tolerates it more than the touch of humans. Her favorite treat is grilled salmon.
