Hawkin sees himself to be a sort of lawmaker type, and spends a lot of his time with Xexial, having sort of self appointing himself as the "sheriff" of the pack. When he's not playing the peacemaker, he's sitting with Gerard while the old curly is visiting with his daughter, mostly napping. The two old men seem to appreciate each others company and get along super well. They may as well be best friends.
