Ukanlos is a fearsome dire whose incredible strength of crushing the thickest ice and rock with his jaws earned him the nickname Tyrant of Ice among those who have seen him or heard his name. Instead of a deep booming howl of most dires, Unk unleashes a terrifying roar that can carry over several miles. He is extremely protective over his handlers and packmates, which can sometimes be a problem when visitors arrive. At that point, he is sent out to roam the mountains and ice fields that he claims as his own. If one must encounter the Tyrant of Ice, always carry a bag of jumbo marshmallows. Although he is a hulking mass of a beast Ukanlos enjoys munching on marshmallows from time to time. If he does not accept your offering of marshmallows he will ignore all demands even if his handlers are nearby.
