Raised from birth, Nanuk is accustomed to military life. He is a mount for the war, an assistant for a soldier, a companion for a fighter. You often see him wearing military apparel, such as a green camouflage helmet, a satchel of the same pattern, hazel felt armbands with tiny bags (which hold medicine or bullet refills), and a large harness hoisted on his back with two backbacks that have an arsenal of weapons, such as pistols, rifles and machine guns. Nanuk knows how to dodge bullets, use his weight to his advantage, and tear the living hell out of the enemy. During his puphood, his owner, a veteran, had a hard time training him since he had such a playful personality. He'd always get distracted from butterflies, falling leaves, or gunshots in the background. Since the quote "Listen to me when I'm talking to you!" had become so common, he misunderstood it as a nickname and, when said, will respond immediately to it. Now, all that naivety and playfulness had vanished; Nanuk had become a serious, stonefaced beardog. Though, sometimes, his playfulness from the past bursts out when the owner plays with him as a reward of 'being a great war-mount.'
