Hylje prides himself at being an avid seal hunter, though he can handle large prey as well. Some handlers say he's much like a polar bear in his tactics for hunting seal from watching seal breathing holes to smashing in seal hideaways. His time on the tundra must've taught him that. He has a loping gait and can be a bit unpredictable under saddle as well. Though he's a powerful toko when it comes to pulling heavy loads by sled in the winter or by cart/wagon in the summer.
