Ever silent, Whisper is as talkative as his rider - which is to say not at all. While he is reliable and sturdy, there are very few circumstances in which this tokota will let any human besides his handler even touch him. Even with other tokotas, Whisper generally keeps his distance, only keeping the presence of his fellow packmates - the tokotas who also belong to his rider. Despite his silence making teamwork more challenging, Whisper is a skilled hunter. His packmates have adapted and learned to work with him, creating a powerful bond in the process. Whisper is often quite intimidating, curling his lips threateningly to strangers who've come too close. He is generally moody and sullen, only expressing his softer side when his handler scratches his ears just right. While not openly affectionate towards them, Whisper is protective of his packmates, and will quickly lash out at any he believes to be a threat to his family. He enjoys curling around his handler by the fire at night, perhaps in hope of a nice ear rub.
