Arista gives birth to a litter of five pups; Vadzim, Natasha, Ihar, Livia and Aurea. She and Ivaylo are very proud parents.

Artem catches a mysterious disease, and it passes to Ivaylo. Arista must make a pilgrimage to a shrine in the Tartok mountains, where herbs which can slow the infection can be found.

A small greying black pup was dropped at the Adoption Centre at several months old. The breeder couldn't sell it on- it was bad tempered, snarling and snapping at anyone that tried to hold it. The AC was hesitant to adopt it out at all- and then Artem showed up, jumpy and nervous around people, but perfectly at ease with animals.

Artem had the right temperament for the pup, tough but not harsh; he seemed to enjoy the challenge of keeping it under control. He said he wanted it for travel, for hunting, and for companionship. Routine check-ups proved the pup was well-cared for; it still growled at the vet, but never at its owner.
