Nova is one of the reinforcers of The Outsiders, who will follow Valkyre around and protect her - and the rest of the pack - at all costs. He doesn't care if he's being too rough, or too mean when he talks. He doesn't have to. It's not his job to worry about feelings being hurt, because his job is to take care of his pack.

He shows very hateful and snappish behaviors when approached by male or male-presenting handlers. It's suspected he may have been abused at one point, and has been decided it's best if he's left alone to his pack.
