Atka, being born deaf, had to learn quickly how to survive in this world. Picked on from an early age, Atka was forced to become extremely aggressive and continues to be aggressive to this day. He is quick to anger and attack, however, he is also cunning, knowing when to cut his losses and retreat into the shadows. Atka does not make friends and is generally an asshole. The only time it ever seems he has a heart is when others are being bullied. He almost never interferes with other tokotas, but if he sees a clear power difference in between two tokotas he will fight and chase off the bully. That does not mean that he is completely rational or compassionate about it however. Afterwards, he will also chase off the tokota being bullied though he does a small amount of concern and makes sure to never harm the poor little bullied tokota. Only stays with his handler because it his best chance at survival.
