Kaiyu is very playful, kind and curious. She enjoys being around others and can be quite the pushover. However she can get scared and intimidated easily and will often try to hide behind her handler, another tokota or anyplace she think can be a fitting hiding place. She also has an unnatrual fear of water, making it hard for her to fish or take a bath.
