Marcellus met Kyte as a pup after escaping a violent tyrant, his father. Kyte was a stern father but he was not abusive, and taught Marcel how to be strong. The two are not that far in age, but Marcel still looks up to Kyte as his mentor and the two still often spar. Disputes from two strong male tokotas is not uncommon, but Marcel is determined not to back down for what he believes in yet show respect all times for those around him. He is quiet unless there is something that needs to be said, usually things that might offer direction for the lost that he often finds in his company.
