Elrond is a very old soul. He has seen and been a part of much throughout his long life. "He is as noble and fair as a dire-lord, as strong as a warrior, as wise as a shaman, as venerable as a king of tokies, and as kind as summer"(Tolkien). Many seek his council for his advice and wisdom. Elrond does not like the idea of becoming involved in confrontatin, nor does he wish to, and tends to hang back and observe. Helping when he can. He does not agree in killing and war but prefers peace for he believes that the taking of another's life diminishes the soul and heart of the one who took it. A very kind and noble being, Elrond nurtures and protects those that he can, even those who may not be as kind to him. A very endearing and patient tokota makes him a very good friend and ally to have.
