Briar certainly lives up to her nickname in that she tends to be a bit on the prickly side. She's quite the grumpus and prefers to be left alone most of the time. She doesn't make friends very easily but keeps company with select few who have managed to earn her respect and trust. She requires a dedicated and experienced rider who knows how to handle difficult tokotas. She does not do well with small children or pups and should not be left unattended with them, as she can get bitey when annoyed. Despite her abrasive personality, she can be quite affectionate (in her own way) to those she trusts, mostly showing this affection via shared meals and gifting baubles she finds.
