Maki is quiet but sturdy, he feels a strong compelling nature to follow orders but knows the time when orders can't be completed in which he will go about his own wants and businesses. Surprisingly those wants are his love to eat tea leave and biscuits. He gets along fairly well with his elderly, showing them deep respect, and leaving the children to play amongst themselves is usually unmovable when around the children/pups.
