Batair expresses a very high opinion of himself. In his eyes, he is a gift to the world and should be honored and respected. He tends to get aggressive around other males, especially ones that are larger than he is. However, he tends to ignore smaller males unless he is to put them in their place. Females are a different story, he will bend over backwards to impress and make them happy. When it comes to handling, he can be very difficult to handle (again, mainly towards male handlers, he does well with girls and children - a soft hand is better than a harsh one). Part of his behavior is believed to be caused by his fangs and physical traits. He grew up knowing that he was different, and often told that he was a big and strong boy. His aggressiveness towards males but desire to impress females is also believed to be caused by his mother, who often punished her son for not showing respect towards her (even in his young adult years, he wants nothing more than to impress her and sticks to her side like glue).
