Atalanta is very popular with children due to her more approachable size and enticingly soft coat, but she is not especially fond of them. She will tolerate petting and being climbed on up to a defined point, at which time she'll take off for the trees and not be seen for hours. She has a bit of her sire's wild streak in her though she is overall much friendlier and easier to work with.
