Stern and stable, she is a reliable team member who does not tolerate being treated as anything less than she is - which is the boss. She is a very firm mother but she does truly enjoy having pups or juveniles to teach and guide, and mourns whenever they are old enough to leave her side, though she would never let them know. Her tender side is reserved for newborns, and on rare occassion her mature children when they have made her extremely proud. She very much prefers practical activities such as hunting and foraging over halter and jumping shows.
