Jira is a born diver. She's most at home on the icy polar shores of the North, where she spends her days among polar bears and the whales after which she is named. She's a very pleasant Tokota, and is often mistaken for a polar bear. This has not stopped handlers from attempting to tame her, though her heart belongs to the water. A thin layer of blubber beneath her skin makes her chunkier than most, but also insulates her from the frigid waters she loves most.
